My Refusal is a coming of age story about an incredible young man faced with incredible obstacles. During his struggle he comes face to face with many issues that are present in our inner city communities today. Santino represents what is possible when determination meets perseverance and dedication. Along this journey he receives a tool that becomes an integral part of his armament; small enough to fit into is backpack, but large enough to impact he and his community together.

Pop-Pop's Garden is a beautiful encounter of a grandfather's love for his very first grandchild. This story highlights two of the most precious gifts that anyone could possibly pass on: knowledge and love. This grandfather does so by creating a special place that is designed specifically for he and his grandchild, a place where they can go and learn about nature and life. This inspirational story also includes several tools that are used to teach young children as they grow.
